At PCU, we understand our students’ diverse and demanding schedules. We recognize that many of our students are working professionals who seek to enhance their legal knowledge while managing other commitments. To accommodate these busy schedules, our school has designed our class offerings to take place in the evening, from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. This schedule allows working learners to pursue their legal education without compromising their professional or personal obligations during regular business hours.

PCU operates on a dynamic academic calendar divided into three terms, providing our students a structured and efficient path toward their legal education goals. Each academic year, our students engage in a comprehensive curriculum, earning a total of 21 semester units. This approach allows for a balanced distribution of coursework throughout the year, fostering a deeper understanding of legal principles and enhancing critical thinking skills.

PCU is dedicated to ensuring a rigorous and thorough legal education for its students, exemplified by the requirements of its Juris Doctor program. With a commitment to academic excellence, the program mandates that students dedicate a minimum of 864 hours to preparation and study throughout our four-year program. This substantial time investment is designed to cultivate a deep understanding of legal principles, foster critical thinking skills, and provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the legal profession.
