Pedro Adrian Orozco
SBA Treasurer
Pedro Adrian Orozco
My name is Pedro Adrian Orozco. I write my full name because I prefer to go by “Adrian” but I do not mind being addressed by my first name.
I am originally from Mexico. I came to the United States when I was 11 years old and I barely knew how to say “my name is.” Because I was so intimidated by a foreign language, I dedicated and applied myself to learning English as quickly and efficiently as possible. While it may not be a popular achievement, I was given an award in middle school for being able to effectively communicate in English within 6 months of my arrival.
Fast forward to my senior year in Tustin High School. Not only was I among the better students, but I also successfully secured a position as a mail clerk in a personal injury law firm in Santa Ana. Since that time, I have held 3 steady jobs, one right after the other, with successful law firms.
After high school, I attended the University of California, Irvine where I studied criminology. I chose criminology because it seemed interesting and to this date I still have hope that one day I will be able to represent a defendant in a worthy criminal case.
Now that I am in law school, passed the baby bar, and are preparing to take on the bar, I am excited for the future of Pacific Coast University, a school that gave me an opportunity to grow in life and secure a career. As treasurer, I am ready to work with my fellow SBA officers in an effort to mark a path or roadmap for future students and SBA officers.
Thank you for your attention,
Adrian Orozco
