Juris Doctor (JD) Degree Admissions Criteria:

Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree

Pacific Coast University, School of Law (“PCU”), considers for admission as Regular Students applicants who have earned a Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university accredited by one of the six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the CBE.

Applicants with an Associate’s Degree or Completion of 60 Semester Units or 90 Quarter Units

Applicants whose official transcripts verify completion of an Associate of Arts Degree with a satisfactory grade point average from an approved community college may be admitted as Regular Students. Further, applicants whose official transcripts verify completion of sixty (60) academic semester units or ninety (90) academic quarter units with a minimum cumulative g.p.a. of 2.00 at approved institutions may be considered as well.

Special Students

Generally, these are applicants who, for one reason or another, have been unable to complete enough collegiate work to qualify under the Regular Student status.

These applicants must achieve the required scores listed below on designated College Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations.
